Joanna Mauer leads ASAP’s technical advocacy in U.S. Department of Energy rulemakings for efficiency standards for residential appliances and commercial and industrial equipment. She joined ASAP in 2010. Prior to joining ASAP, Joanna worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Center for Integrative Environmental Research. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Joanna earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from Cornell University.
